The Elder Scrolls Online Is Adding A New PvP Battleground And Game Mode With Next Update

In the game’s next major update, players will find a new game mode in the form of ‘Chaosball’. Despite what it may sound like, this isn’t a mode in which you’re playing a ball-related sport (sounds fun, though). Instead, you hold on to the eponymous Chaosball to earn points, with the first team to reach 500 points wins, but the ball also deals damage to you and your team, reduces your defenses and offenses, and can’t be shed once you pick it up. It sounds like it will spice things up and amuse by everyone, maintaining the edge that players expect from ESO.

And what is more, eso gold farming is not reliable.

Additionally, the update will add a brand-new battleground in the form of the Arcane University, a larger battleground with narrow streets and height differences to really make things play differently and feel new. So if the existing maps and game modes have grown tedious and boring for you, the next update will help you bring a fresh layer of interest into the game. You can run through the Academy streets while holding a ball of doom and desperately avoiding other players, for example. The update will also introduce additional homes, new furnishings and more.

It should be noted that this free update will become available for the base game when the new DLC called Horns of the Reach launches. This DLC will include two extra dungeons: Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Hold. Item wise, you’ll be able to get latest Monster Masks, boss collectibles, titles and even new achievements. Update 15 will be available to all ESO players (though only ESO: Morrowind owners will have access to the Battlegrounds content), even if you don’t pick up Horns of the Reach.
